biebergaga Lady Gaga Passes One Billion Mark on YouTube, Bieber Closing InFirst, Lady Gaga had the most viewed music video on YouTube with ‘Bad Romance,’ and then Justin Bieber stole the throne away back in July. Now, Gaga’s YouTube channel has crossed the one billion mark, and yet again the Biebs is closing in quick. Lady Gaga became the first musician to record over one billion views on YouTube, crowning her the cultural Queen of the YouTube generation, but even with a huge head start, Bieber is on track to pass the same mark by Nov. 1, Hollywood Reporter estimates.

“We reached 1 Billion views on youtube little monsters! If we can stick together we can do anything. I dub you kings and queens of youtube! Unite!” Lady Gaga announced Monday morning on Twitter.

Currently, Gaga’s YouTube channel has 1,001,881,969 total upload views, while Bieber’s has 965,831,991.

MTV Video Music Awards 190x300 Paper warns against Gaga meat dressA Connecticut newspaper is warning readers of the dangers involved with emulating Lady Gaga’s famous meat dress as a Halloween costume.

The Hartford (Conn.) Courant said wearing raw meat like the pop singer did at the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards can lead to infections including campylobacteriosis, which can bring about fever, muscle ache, diarrhea, dysentery and other symptoms.

The newspaper said wearing a meat dress, which many experts have predicted to be a popular costume this year, can also lead to toxoplasmosis, a parasitic infection that can lead to brain damage or death among those with weak immune systems.

Lady Gaga greets Anderson Cooper with a big hug on Saturday (October 23) in London, England.

The 24-year-old pop star met up with The Silver Fox near the Thames River to chat about her forthcoming album.

“About to do my very first interview for Born This Way, I’m so excited and happy! Have all little monsters in my heart to carry with me xx MM” Gaga wrote on her Twitter page.

Gaga recently told fans at a concert in Oslo, Norway that she’s working on the album while on the road.

“People say to me, ‘Why don’t you wait until the tour is over to finish your album?’ and I’ll say, ‘First off, all my fans are not going to wait that long. I have to keep my fans happy,” she said, according to MTV News. “But secondly, I get so much inspiration every night when I get to be here with you.’

Elton John and Lady Gaga are teaming up to duet on a new track for the upcoming Disney animated film Gnomeo & Juliet!

The duo will sing “Hello, Hello,” a song that EW calls a “charming pop track,” for the film – the song plays when the two lead characters, voiced by James McAvoy and Emily Blunt, meet for the first time.

Gnomeo & Juliet will hit the big screen on February 11!

FYI: Back in May, Gaga and Elton sang Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin’” together!

Not wanting to take the chance of causing unrest, Lady Gaga has decided to push back plans to perform in the city of Paris, France over the upcoming weekend.

Making the switch due to ongoing strikes in the region, a statement on the “Poker Face” singer’s website tells: “As a result of the logistical difficulties due to the strikes in France, Live Nation today announced that the Lady Gaga performances in Paris at Bercy previously scheduled for this Friday and Saturday 22 & 23 October are postponed until 19 & 20 December, 2010.”

The notice continues: “Unfortunately, as there is no certainty that the trucks can make it to the Bercy for this weekend’s shows, the Lady Gaga performances are now postponed. The December 19th concert will replace the 22-October show and December 20th concert will replace the 23-October performance.”

Gaga is giving ticket-holding fans til mid-November to either return their tickets for a refund or swap for admittance to the rescheduled dates.

Of the plans, the singer’s site tells, “Fans with tickets to the rescheduled shows must exchange their tickets or claim for refund from now through November 14th at their point of purchase. Tickets dated October 22 and 23 will not be valid at the new dates.”
